Sinópsis: “No te quedes sola como yo.” Esa súplica, expresada por su abuela antes de morir, atormenta a Tatiana, una documentalista soltera de cuarenta años. Llena de preguntas sobre qué significa “quedarse sola”, Tatiana explora la vida de su abuela Teresa, una mujer imponente dueña del icónico Cine Carmelita, que se divorció tres veces y desafió los cánones de la sociedad dominicana de la época.
La cineasta empieza un recorrido que la lleva por archivos familiares, películas antiguas y cientos de cartas construyendo —o intentando deconstruir— una historia sobre el amor, las expectativas sociales y la soledad.
