Like every year, we seek to share with the whole world the cinema of Central America and the Caribbean, written with C de Cine: a phoenix filmography that is born with strength, magic, and freshness from the ashes of history, suffering and the joie de vivre from our region C and C.
As we work in our thirteenth festival, we share with you what IFF Panama has achieved in these twelve years:

Each venue of the Festival tells a part of Panama’s story. Different spaces, different trajectories, and one common point: cinema.
Teatro Nacional
The Festival’s main stage. A cultural icon of Panama and the main venue for IFF Panama. Here you’ll find the Opening Gala, the Blue Carpet, Panamanian premieres, and the Closing Ceremony. A space where cinema is experienced as a cultural event and a meeting point for creators, guests, and the public.
Ciudad de las Artes
The main stage of IFF Panama. It hosts daily screenings of independent films curated by the festival and is the venue for Industry Day, featuring workshops, panels, and talks. A space designed for professional networking, learning, and connecting national and international talent.
Museo del Canal
Located in the heart of the Old Quarter, the Canal Museum hosts screenings during the festival. Its proximity to the National Theater facilitates logistics between venues and enhances the festival’s cultural experience in an iconic heritage site in Panama.
Ateneo – City of Knowledge
Home to the IFF Panama Educational Program. Here, free screenings and educational activities are offered for children and young people. A space dedicated to developing new audiences and providing early access to cinema as an educational and cultural tool.
Sofitel Legend Hotel Casco Viejo
The hotel serves as the official venue for special guests of the festival. Located in the Old Quarter, it blends contemporary elegance with historical heritage. This hospitality space complements the IFF Panama experience, offering comfort, networking opportunities, and connections for international talent and strategic partners.
Although your Foundation carries out Industry activities throughout the year, your Festival dedicates part of its programming to specific Industry activities, such as workshops, talks and master classes, sometimes aimed at experienced filmmakers, other times at our general public or to specific groups such as adolescents and young people.
Our Festival Industry enriches your experiences with those of distinguished representatives of the international industry, in safe spaces that nurture new possibilities of inspiration, development, production, marketing and distribution of projects.
